Welcome to my blog! I am Raquel and I live in Houston, Texas with my husband, two teenage step-daughters and yellow lab fur baby. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas–proud Texan here–and I have a full-time job in the oil & gas field. • I have been working at the same company since I was 17
• I am a Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo volunteer
• I love to travel
• I like to try new places and and do touristy things in my hometown Houston, TX
• Orchids and peonies are my fave
• I am afraid of heights but will make myself get on the rollercoaster and conquer my fears–sometimes!
• I heart coffee and wine
• I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes
